This area in the constellation of virgo / coma bernice is part of the Virgo cluster of galaxies. The red marked galaxies are all part of it and so are the white labeled smaller ones. The smaller ones with blue labels are background galaxies. Below is the location marked of the Supernova SN2024gy that was discovered on January 4th 2024.
