Messier 63 or M63, also known as NGC 5055 is a spiral galaxy in the northern constellation of Canes Venatici with approximately 400 billion stars. Captured in my backyard 20th of may and 8th of June, 50 frames at 120s (1h40m). For equipment, see about.

Next to the bigger M63 there are a lot of smaller galaxies. PGC45897 is a larger one but with a low surface brightness. Close to PGC2192268 there is a quasar visible which is 17.1 billion light-years away (co-moving radial distance), SDSS J131323.03+420423.9. At a redshift of 1.98707, the light took 10 billion years to reach us. calculator
